Disney Inspired Sweet Treat Charm

With our Disney trip coming up, we have been in all things Disney mode. Today I want to share with you this simple cute cupcake charm.

I used scupleys clay and a package of their tools. Which I do recommend buying. I purchased a 10 pack, tool set, and a strand of beads for another project. I spent $18 at Joanns. (Tip: the clay is $19.99 and my total was less than that. Joanns takes competitors coupons and theirs. So I used a ac Moore for 55% and a Joanns for 50%.)

Below are the items I purchased.

Next was the fun part of creating. I've done a diagram of each step to give you a visual of what I did. I'm going to show you my Belle inspired cupcake.

First I took some yellow and shaped it into what somewhat looked like the bottom of a cupcake. (I did about 1/8 of an inch thickness) Next I rolled some brown into a worm looking shape for hair. I then molded the two together. After that I used one of the tools to make lines on the bottom to make it look more like a cupcake. Step five I made two small balls and another small worm out of the yellow.

Alright now to step six, I added the worm shape from one corner to the next of the bottom of the cupcake to make a smiley face. In the corners I added the balls I made and patted them down a bit. I then took the tool to add a few lines. Step 7, I rolled another small worm in red and rolled it up to resemble a rose. Then add to top of the cupcake off to the side. Last step I added glitter and a jewelry eye hook to make it a necklace. Follow clay instructions for baking. Then you have the perfect charm for any necklace.

And the finished project on my princess.

And some other sweet treats I whipped up. You can get as creative as you like and make all your favorite characters.

I've got 99 problems, but Disney sweet treat necklaces aren't one...

My big fat amazing playhouse

So I decided my toddlers needed a playhouse. Not a plastic store bought playhouse, but an epic under the stairs playhouse. I did my research via Pinterest of course.

The plan has been in the works for sometime. When we built our home, we even anticipated for it and had wires moved for it. We took pictures during the build to remember where parts of the frame were.

Anyway enough with my rambling, everyone knows you just want to see pictures...

Only before I have

Playhouse, take note of the hidden Mickey.

And of course the inside, which is not finished.

I have a few more finishing touches to do but overall, I'm in love!
